Location: Aldershot, Head Office – Customer site visits may be required
Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 DOE
About The Role

As an IT support engineer your position will be varied, you will be hands on technically ensuring the smooth running of our clients IT, Infrastructure and Networking technologies along with supporting our hosted voice clients.
As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing telephone and email support through our ticketing systems to our customers in order to maintain their systems. You will support the technical teams where required and rectify any faults in a professional and timely manner.

The Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 2 years experience within the I.T support industry
Previous experience in varied I.T Support and client accounts
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
Experience administering Microsoft 365
Experience with Azure active directory
Good experience with the full Microsoft product suite
Basic experience/awareness of firewalls, routers and telephony would be desirable
Ability to work productively within a small team
Being forward thinking and innovative
Ability to build working relationships with clients
Must be able to drive to attend to call outs so a driving license is essential
A hunger to learn and progress.
As an IT Helpdesk Technician, further responsibilities will also include:
Provide telephone and email support to our customers in order to maintain their systems and ensure that the customer is satisfied.
Onboarding new clients.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
Prioritise outbound calling to resolve cases in a timely manner.
Report issues to 3rd party suppliers, chasing and doing all that is possible to ensure cases are resolved in a timely manner and that the customer is kept informed.
Cases are managed in line with agreed SLA’s and are escalated with sufficient SLA remaining.
Use available broadband diagnostic tools to identify and resolve broadband faults.
Support the technical team in additional areas where required.
Carry out general administration duties such as logging calls, database administration on our CRM system, add knowledgebase articles for customer self-serve portals.
