The ‘VoIP’ in Hosted VoIP systems stands for ‘voice over internet protocol’. A VoIP phone service is a telephone service provided through the internet rather than using a traditional phone line. VoIP calls are made using a specially equipped VoIP phone, also known as an IP phone. Hosted simply means that the hardware and PBX (Private Branch eXchange) are located off-site, away from the premises which are using the VoIP telephone system and are maintained by the VoIP provider.
Also known as internet phones or ip telephones, we have a choice of Polycom® HD or Yealink HD handsets, offering a selection of VoIP phones to suit the needs of various sized offices with differing requirements.
